Journey from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales – the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park – or vice versa.
Spend 4 days on the fjords of the incomparable Torres del Paine National Park. Chile’s incredible coastal landscape feels like another world, and seeing it from the ocean gives you a perspective few visitors to Patagonia experience.
Board your vessel at Puerto Montt, receiving a welcome orientation before sailing through the Patagonian Fjords bound for Puerto Natales. Navigating the Gulf of Corcovado, your route will depend on local conditions, keeping an air of adventure to your itinerary. All routes however offer unforgettable scenery as you enter these glacier-cut channels. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including minke whales, and enormous blue whales en route. Your final destination is the appropriately named Puerto Eden.

Puerto Montt
Check-in is available from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm in the local offices located at Holiday Inn Express Hotel located in Juan Soler Manfredini Ave. S/N, First Floor, Costanera Mall. You can drop your luggage and the ground personnel will keep it until boarding starts.
All passengers shall embark at 2:00 pm. Once onboard, crew members will give a welcome talk and additional information for a safe and fun journey. Departing at 4:00 pm and sailing through the Patagonian Fjords, with final destination Puerto Natales.
The adventure begins in the Reloncavi Sound, Gulf of Ancud, in the evening we enter the Apiao Channel and then the Gulf of Corcovado.

Moraleda Channel - Ocean Area - Golfo de Penas
At dawn you sail through the southernmost part of the Gulf of Corcovado. The Captain, and based on the weather, tidal currents the captain will decide the most appropriate route with choices of: Boca del Guafo, Ninualac Channel, and the Pulluche Channel. If heading to open waters via the Boca del Guafo, you sail between the Archipelago de los Chonos and Isla Guafo, to quickly enter open waters. Sailing through the Ninualac Channel you approach Tuap Island, you turn towards the West and begin navigate through the Ninualac Channel to the open water. If sailing through the Pulluche Channel, you pass through the Moraleda channel, and then later, sail through the Errazuriz Channel eventually reaching the Pulluche Channel - the most lush in vegetation of Lenga or Southern Beech and Patagonian Cypress forests, in the region and with luck, you will see marine birds, sea lions, and native dolphins called "Toninas".
As you dine in the evening you will enter the Golfo de Penas, for some sheltered waters. The open ocean crossing lasts about 12 hours and with favorable weather and luck it is possible to see humpback, Minke, and blue whales (depending on the time of year).

Bajo Cotopaxi - Puerto Eden
Wake up sailing between fjords and crossing the Messier channel, which is 1, 270 meters deep. This characteristic makes it one of the deepest in the area; here we will also be able to see the cargo ship "Capitán Leonidas", which ran aground in the 70s on a semi sunken islet called "Bajo Cotopaxi". Nowadays, it is used as a lighthouse and as a point of reference for sailors. Shortly after that, you will cross "Angostura Inglesa" to arrive to Puerto Edén, which is located in Wellington Island, one of the biggest in Chile. It is part of Bernardo O'Higgins National park, which is the vastest in Chile, it has Magallánicos forest and Southern Patagonia Ice Field.

Angostura White - Puerto Natales
Arise as you sail up the Sarmiento channel, and then navigate to the narrowest path of the route, Angostura White, which is only 80 meters wide. Later, sail into Union small bay and then enter the channel that leads to Puerto Natales city where our great adventure ends.
Disembarking in Puerto Eden and the trip through the channels is done only if the weather, ocean conditions, and itinerary permit, always at the Captain's discretion.
